The life is simple, people meet and chat, play cards, farm and fuel their daily hardships with vodka (obivously). Most of them have no TV, Radio or Phones, but they look possitively happy and relaxed.
I guess if you are not subjected to modern technology then you can hapily and freely live without it, proven by this little happy village Radost (Радость) which literally translates as happiness in English language.
