Can Karna face Ravana? It is funny what blind hatred does to one person. Can Karna face Ravana? Sure. But will he defeat Ravana? Or even be a difficulty for Ravana? Absolutely not! Karna or even for there fact Arjuna could not even face Devas in battle. Arjuna himself needed Krishna Ji’s aide else he would have been crushed by Indra Deva. Ravana on the other hand defeated all the Devas when the group attacked him. He was extremely powerful and also the plethora of weapons had made him way superior to anyone in Dwapara. This is what Vibhishana says about Ravana: "The demon, who had never been conquered before in battles, by even all the gods combined or by Indra himself, has been conquered, on confronting you in the battlefield, as the sea breaks up, on reaching the shore." Let us look at what Sri Rama also told about Ravana’s prowess: "It is heard that Ravana who was mighty, endowed with strength and who was causing people to cry, was not conquered by the chiefs like Indra and others." Sri Vishnu himself took an Avatara to dispose of Ravana only, do people think that Sri Vishnu was crazy or jobless to simply take an Avatara? Ravana wins without any effort. Lol, Ravana earned boons and all his weapons through his merit which was due to his Tapa.

People themselves are hypocritical. They say Ravana was nothing without his boon. Even Taraka, Mahisha, Hiranyakashipu, Hiranyakasha, etc… were pathetic without their boons. Mahisha and Taraka were the weakest as they struggled against Indra even with their boons. Boons are something one earns through his merit. Has anyone even read Taittriya Aranyaka, Chapter 1, Anuvaka 32, Mantra 132? It clearly says those who perform Tapa gain merit. तपस्वी पुण्यो भवति तपस्वी पु॑ण्यो भ॒वति Those who perform penance gain merit, those who perform penance gain merit. - Taittriya Aranyaka, Chapter 1, Anuvaka 32, Mantra 132. Hence boon is something that can be gained only through one's Karma, one gains the boon because of the hardships they undergo and the penance they perform. It is like saying that a student is relevant only because of his teacher else he is nothing. Karna though a powerful warrior of Dwapra is nothing compared to anyone from Treta, let alone a monster like Ravana. The funny thing is people who do not know the difference between Brahma Deva and Brahman tell others about boons. A person who himself mocks Vedas comments on Hindu scriptures, the irony.
