WARNING: Fake Facebook Messages Serve As Phish Bait
Employees of 43 percent of companies that received a simulated phishing email with fake Facebook or Twitter updates from a reputable and trusted server clicked on it.
That phishing finding comes from KnowBe4, which found that even when the email came from an unknown and untrusted server, employees of 15 percent of companies still clicked on it.
Focusing on industries where personal and financial information is likely to be stored on networks, KnowBe4found that at least one employee of firms in the following sectors clicked on the simulated phishing email:
- Financial services: 212.69 percent
- Government services: 21.23 percent
- Insurance: 18.37 percent
- Healthcare: 17.99 percent
KnowBe4 founder and Chief Executive Officer Stu Sjouwerman said:
Given America’s widespread participation in social media, small and medium enterprises can assume that most employees have either a Twitter or Facebook account, or both. The perpetrators of this latest phishing scam are counting on users’ curiosity and trust in their social networks. The cybercriminals send a brief note — something along the lines of, “I Googled your name and found this,” or, “This photo of you is hysterical” — followed by a link.
Using a common link shortener, such as bit.ly, the sender is able to mask the identity of the website the link is directing to. Many recipients let their guard down and click the link if it appears to be sent by someone they know. However, these malicious links will often initiate a malware download or prompt the user to enter their personal login information; and in that instant, the company’s network is compromised.
Many [small businesses] don’t realize just how susceptible their employees are to phishing attacks, or they think their existing security measures are sufficient to handle external threats. But the fact is that security breaches can and do happen every day, and the consequences can be devastating to a company’s reputation and finances.

Can You Take The Timeline Off Your Facebook Profile?
Before timeline went live, it was actually possible to undo an upgrade to this advanced profile: Uninstalling the Developer application from your Facebook account would remove the timeline. But now all of this has changed.
A spokesperson for Facebook explained in an email to us:
Once you click “Get Timeline,” you will have seven days to review everything that appears on your timeline before anyone else can see it.
If you choose, you can publish your timeline right away. If you decide to wait, your timeline will go live automatically after seven days. Your timeline will replace your profile.
Eventually everyone on Facebook will be rolled over to timeline.
Less technologically inclined users of Facebook have said they find timeline overwhelming. Complaints have followed nearly every upgrade the social network has ever made, and eventually people have simmered down after getting used to the changes.
But the timeline’s changes present a bigger learning curve than anything the site has ever done before, so let’s see what Facebook does to educate people about the advanced profile.
Readers, what are your friends saying about the timeline?
How you can perk up your sex life
Hormone and anti-ageing specialist Cecilia Tregear says that sex plays an important role in making people look and feel younger.
Tregear, who is based at the Wimpole Skin Clinic in Harley Street, London, has worked with hundreds of couples over the course of her 25-year career.
"The couples who were having lots of regular sex almost always looked younger than those who weren't. They were also slimmer, fitter, healthier and happier. Sexual activity, in my view, is an accurate thermometer for measuring health," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.
And she realised the people who were having lots of sex in their relationships had one key factor in common: their diet. All of them were eating extremely nutritious food.
She explains: "Good nutrition is essential for the healthy production of hormones which maintain the libido and allow for regular and fulfilling sexual activity."
She has devised the Between the Sheets diet, which promises to perk up your libido. Combined with regular exercise it should ensure you not only have regular, great sex-just like you did in your youth-but look and feel younger too.
STEP ONE: FEED YOUR BRAIN
According to Tregear, the first step to boosting your love life is to feed your brain. "The biggest sexual organ is the brain, which produces the chemicals and hormones that trigger feelings of love and attraction, arousal and or*asm. We need to make sure we're eating the right foods to ensure the production of these chemicals and hormones."
First, it's important to have a diet that boosts the levels of the neurotransmitter dopamine, released by the brain. Dopamine is the feel-good chemical associated with the emotions of anticipation and desire. As such, it is vital to a healthy sex drive.
STEP TWO: BALANCE YOUR HORMONES
Having a good balance of hormones is essential to a healthy sex life, which is why the menopause - when hormone levels drop - can cause havoc with your sex life. There are three hormones responsible for arousal and sexual desire: oestrogens, which are present in both men and women, testosterone, also in both men and women, and DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone), which is found in women only.
"A good balance of animal fat in meat and fish and good cholesterol, found in eggs for example, encourages the production of sex hormones, improving libido. It's vital to eat plenty of good quality protein, ideally a portion with every meal," said Tregear.
STEP THREE: BOOST YOUR ENERGY
For good sex, you need stamina and energy. While a generally healthy diet will help you feel strong and healthy, it's important to eat food that will increase your levels of Human Growth Hormone (HGH). This hormone increases sexual desire and provides the stamina and energy needed for a sexual marathon. To increase production, eat organic protein from beef, fish, and chicken. (ANI)
