Schoolboy Sold Kidney To Buy Iphone And Ipad His name is Xiao Zheng and he is a student in Anhui Province from China. He sold his Kidney for around $3400 to an unknown man, whereas he could have sold it for around $50,000 in USA. Hospital where operation apparently took place claims to know nothing of the operation and a man to whom Kidney was sold vanished without a trace. But this dude now got a new Iphone 4 and Ipad 2 to play with, so good luck to him.  The boy says he regrets selling his kidney for so cheap. Even on the Black Market good kidneys are sold for around $8,000. He says he often feels tired, and exhausted from just walking up the stairs. The only good news though is that he can now facebook and tweet about his stair struggles as it happens to his 2 or 3 friends.  On serious note, because boy is a minor hospital had no right to allow such practice to take place without parent's consent. Hospital claims a part of the building where operation took place was contracted to a private businessman and had no clue what was going on there. Police in China are not buying this excuse so this boy may be looking at a good court settlement and maybe a new Iphone 5 and Ipad 3 when they come out |
