CHILLAR PARTY depicts the courage with which they stand up against their parents and also a powerful politician to fight for a just cause. The cause is most noble and if you’re a dog lover [like me], you’d simply want to be one with the kids in this agitation and fight the unscrupulous politician tooth and nail. And that’s precisely why CHILLAR PARTY works. It evokes the right feelings. It knocks on your conscience. On the whole, CHILLAR PARTY is not just for kids, but for grownups as well. A story of grit and determination, it works not just as an entertainer, but also advocates a message rather strongly. A film that deserves to be tax-exempted so that it reaches out to a wider audience. A small film with a gigantic spirit… Encourage this one!

Thankfully no. Chillar Party may not be free of the obligatory good versus evil theme which persistently makes its way into this genre (at least in Bollywood) yet it aims at generating laughter, without punching you in the gut.Chillar Party is an enjoyable film with plenty of laughs. Do watch this, unless of course you hate kids.

It’s one filmi formula that has traditionally been failsafe. Herd a bunch of frisky and fancy-free kids together, throw them into an emotional whirligig that pushes them to raise the banner of revolt against insensitive adults and let the ensuing tussle do the rest. It makes for good, unadulterated fun. It squeezes in a quiet message even as it portrays the world purely from the gawky-eyed point of view of children. In the run-up to the climax, however, the film comes precariously close to tying itself up in knots as the child-like aura it builds up begins to teeter on the edge of childishness

Once in a while comes a film that is made with a lot of heart and touches you with its sheer innocence. And CHILLAR PARTY is one such film. There is a constant smile on your face as you watch the proceedings. Like the recently released STANLEY KA DABBA, it subtly gives the message of being unselfish and going that extra mile for friends. CHILLAR PARTY is an honest and heartfelt film which makes you laugh, cry, clap and more importantly, think. Ekdum faadu hai boss!

The characters demonstrate innocence and maturity at the same time and effortlessly carry the film forward through the multiple twists and turns the plot takes. The power of the film is in its simplicity that makes you laugh and makes you cry — a feat very few films have achieved lately.Packed with fun yet emotional moments, stellar performances, witty dialogue and a great story, Chillar Party is a must watch for kids and adults alike.Chillar Party is a multi-layered story. It isn’t a moral lesson, thank God for that, but it has quite few social issues addressed through its 2.5 hour duration.

Watch it for the kids, whose simplicity and innocence stays in your heart even when the film ends. The heartwarming piece of reality is a family entertainer as it gives a deeper insight into the world of kids.On the flipside, the narrative is too slow and the outcry for battle by little kids is little overdone and looks bit jarring.
