There are some breeds of cat who have blue eyes, but not many. Siamese and Ragdoll cats usually have blue eyes. Thai cats as well. Turkish Vans don’t necessarily have blue eyes but one might still find a blue-eyed kitty among them.
Contrary to popular belief, white cats with blue, orange or green eyes are not albino. And no, not all blue eyed cats are deaf. If any any are then it is usually a condition brought about by some defect within the cats ears at birth.Usually the deafness is associated with blue eyed white cats, the coat color is part of the genetic factor that coincides with the deafness, but even being white coated won’t necessarily mean the cat would be deaf. There is a more likelihood of an albino cat being born deaf. It doesn’t mean having blue eyes makes cats deaf.
